Piano-X and Piano 5 are totally stand-alone applications. They are written in Lisp and have been implemented using the powerful LispWorks integrated development environment.
Piano is now available for the Windows operating system, including Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows 98 and Windows Millennium Edition.
A version of Piano 5 for Intel-based Apple Macs will be available at a future date. Previous versions of Piano run under PowerPC Macs, and are written in Macintosh Common Lisp (MCL).
